I know some other folks have asked about the 2nd Gen to 3rd Gen, I believe the floorplans are going to be almost identical with the exception of the driver side foot rest or “dead pedal”

If you make it work even close to looking factory a LOT of folks would do it!

@rjbiii Are the pictures you posted of your 2009 Tacoma? Going to order ASAP but curious how they look with the different seat setup... looks to be some holes that would be left open that are normally for the rear console setup if I'm correct?

Yes the pics on the first page are of my 09 access cab. Which holes are you talking about? I can snag some more pics if need be..

Not sure how the consoles differ between year models..

@rjbiii Looking at your pics... on the rear part of the transmission tunnel just in front of the rear seat mounts there is 3 holes across it.. are those left open? Also, the 2 on the actual seat part that show a threaded hole behind the flooring material.. I'm assuming that's where the seats bolt in to?

I believe if you dont have the rear seat center console, that those would be left open. I took my rear center console out and replaced it with a platform for my for my fridge.

The two behind that are where the seat belts bolt into.

Does anyone know for sure the carpet in the 2nd gens and 3rd gens are different? I'd love to slap one of these in my 3G

Installed my all weather flooring today in my 2014 DC. I used a local dealer parts Dept to order it. They said their inventory search only showed 4 left for DC Automatics in the US, I got one so that means maybe only 3 left. These were an option on the 2012-2013 DCs.

So if you’re considering this...may want to act sooner rather than later.

This concludes this TW Public Service Announcement.

Dammit . Ok, since there's a bunch of people in this thread interested in doing this I'll just put this out there. Wanting a BLACK carpet, DC, AT. I don't expect you to shampoo it for me, bit it must be in very good to excellent condition. Of course I'm not asking for it for free so this could offset your new flooring purchase. Lmk, thanks.

LOL! How could you tell...? :anonymous:

Been thinking about it for a while, but yours is the first post I've seen with the AC part number. Thanks for that, BTW!

Lol just had a hunch

You're quite welcome sir! Not sure how many manual transmission access cab mats there are left out there. I know Gunny had a hard time finding one when I bought mine. If you're planning on pulling the trigger, better do it sooner rather than later!

While i was picking up a few parts for my FJ I talked to the parts department at my local toyota dealership, they said there shouldn't be a problem getting the flooring, it just may take a while since they are on back order. Having this flooring option still available helps in my decision to get back in a taco. The FJ Cruiser is fun but so cramped when loaded down. I miss a bed. 2nd gen ftw.
