What floor mats are y'all using? I've had gray Weathertechs for over 12 years. Weathertech doesn't recommend the exact fits on vinyl floors, plus I'd want black anyways.

I don’t use them, just let the flooring contain all dirt and liquids.

Floor was just delivered. The reason I was asking about the 2006 access cab is there is nothing in the first few years of access cabs with regards to a center storage or speaker between the rear seats. So with this vinyl floor, I now have to cover up some holes and gaps for something between the seats. I have some sound deadening on order, so once that comes in I'll attempt the install. But I'm not to happy right now.

It's going to be a bit. I'm waiting on my CCF order from Foam Factory to do some sound deadening on the floor while I have everything out. But I'm going to have to spend even more $$ on getting some kind of patch made. Damn half assed money pit and I haven't even started!

My truck came with 4runner husky liners which basically fit ok in the front, but are cut to fit around the seat tracks in the back. i'm partially worried that i'll get some melted snow leakage past the cuts into the carpet and make it soggy /musty... but i'm trying to get waterproof seatcovers first and then decide on floor covering after, since i cous easily make a big ol mess on these really clean seats! (my current car has black vinyl seats , easy cleanup! and the carpet is black, so coffee spills are hidden) this truck has a grey interior!!!!!

I'm probably going to put mine up for sale, sucks because I already threw away the box. I would need to cover about 8 holes that are already cut out and then recut 2 other areas for tie down points. And until I remove everything out of the truck, I won't be able to tell exactly how little coverage I will have around the rear seats. What an expensive disaster.

Welcome to TW where nobody is satisfied and everything is an expensive disaster.
:sawzall::welder: Still waiting for photos of what you are referencing in regards to holes.

The flooring from the middle of the tunnel behind the front seats, right before the three holes cut for the console, to the rear of the cab is wrong. 1/4 of the entire floor, around the rear storage areas, would need to be hand fab'd with a like material to have any kind of coverage. A 2006 only has a tie down for child seats on the passenger side. This floor is missing huge sections of floor for tie downs on both drivers and passenger sides, that I don't have and need to be made and replaced.

@Blain the hole(s) not matching sucks...

    :annoyed:

Could you cut your existing rear carpet somewhere under your front seat and have all weather flooring in the front and your OEM carpet in the rear?

My carpet is the light grey, so no cutting for me.

I'm trying to make it work and was looking for a similar textured and thickness vinyl to use to patch all the areas where it's missing. I guess to add insult to injury I found this site. You can order replacement carpet or vinyl flooring and Tacomas are listed. A complete floor for a 2006 Tacoma access cab in black vinyl is $262.

Now that I'm searching for the vinyl, I'm seeing it for half price $131. It says the backing is (loose) and it's full coverage, so you'd have to trim it.

Whew, full day. I ended up installing sound deadener since I was pulling everything out of the cab. I have a sheet of vinyl flooring being delivered Friday. I'm going to use it to try to repair all of the areas behind the seats, it's a mess. If I had to do it over again, I'd buy a full replacement vinyl floor in gray, for $135 and cut out all the holes specific to my truck.

You can see the foam under the vinyl. I still have to place the MLV in this area, then I'll reinstall the seatbelts and seats.
