sub'd because if they do come out with a dual sub option, I will be more interested for sure. The single sub system I had of theirs in my tC sounded amazing, but just not enough boom for me. I know that's not what OEM+ is going for, but maybe the 2nd sub package will fix that for my liking.

look into a ported sub box, big difference and lotsof BOOM

I had a pro shop redo my system, had a single JL sub box, needed more BOOM, put the same
10" JL sub in a full length ported box and it sounds like there's 3 or 4 subs back there now.

 

So you have a single 10 in a ported box and that box is the total length of the cab?

I have quite a bit of BOOM as well. I managed to squeeze 2-12” Sound Ordinance subwoofers in the extended can of my 2001. I can upload a pic after school.

Thank for the inputs, I know they check this thread. Unfortunately all the info I have is in the update.

 

When I spoke to Daniel few months ago he stated the profit margin was minimal and will not be able to provide any type of a group buy discount.

 

hell yeah. glad the second sub is coming to fruition and that there is an upgrade path. i'll definitely upgrade but I wouldn't have replaced the whole system just to get it.

am curious if we'll have to swap amps with him. I am expecting that to be necessary. I don't see how our current amp is just going to be able to run a second 8 but maybe?

 

Considering the size of the second box, maybe there is a built in amp and an adapter for the plug going into the first sub to get the signal and power. Not sure what they came up, he didn't elaborate further.

Id be willing to go about 25% off as its only been installed for a few months and has zero issues. I have about $4000 worth of upgrades to my TRD offroad and this was by far my favorite mod.

Shoot me a message if you are serious about buying. I don't want to remove it if I dont have a sure sale. I can get you pictures as well.

 

I purchased the OEM+ and installed it about 6-8 months ago, it’s incredible...I also added sound deadening material in the doors but Daniel said it was not necessary but I think it helped since I am on the road a lot...

 

I also have a bunch of sound dampening material for sale - i did my doors behind the speakers and also behind the sub area and it made a huge difference.

 

I'm on the wait list for for reference Q450, which Daniel says is about 45 days out. I definitely would be interested in the extra sub, definitely worth the wait.
