The second sub, I have the system already. Love it!

 

Very nice, waiting on availability of the entire system, before I can order mine. Hoping to be able to get the second sub at the same time. Were you given a production/shipping timeline on the second sub? I can imagine what a difference and the punch that it will deliver! Keep us posted!

I really like the looks and simplicity of this setup, but do you really think its worth it? $2200 can buy some really high end audio.

 

Here's my thing. Can you get nicer components and more watts for the same coin by piecing together aftermarket parts? Sure, but in my experience the end result will not be that much better and if not done right it won't be better at all. Plus there's a few big hurdles you'll have to cross. Wiring/install, DSP and/or new headunit, sub box, amp placement and probably most importantly tuning. In most cases that last one is completely omitted which leaves sooo much on the table in my experience. With the O+ system all of this is done for you and that's why this system costs what it does. In my opinion all of that is worth every penny. And I've been down that other road multiple times.

It does depend what you are looking for though. The O+ system is very much so an OEM esque premium balanced system. Think high end systems that you would get in an expensive luxury car. It does not have the "aftermarket system" feel to it if that makes any sense.

 

Complete plug and play custom fitted and tuned and very high quality specifically for the cabin in a truck, which is difficult to add subs too, without sacrificing seating space....it has been worth every penny. I only wish entune didn't suck and had google maps.

 

By far the best $$ I have spent on my truck. I get to rock out with a high end audio experience every day.

I impulse ordered the second sub as well.

No ragrets. Can't wait for it to arrive! I think I may have been the first order

 

Sub'd for the Sub... can't wait to hear the feedback after install. I have the 450Q system now, IMO the O+ Audio sound quality for the money is the best thing going. Hoping the additional sub takes this system over the top

As previously discussed, the only aspect I see at first glance that impedes a TRUE drop-in installation of our dual subwoofer option is the storage shelf toward the drivers side of the vehicle. I was wondering, would the 3rd gen bin fit in a 2nd gen?

 

Anyone received the second sub yet? It's been a little over 3 weeks since I ordered and haven't heard anything.

 

When I ordered they said 2-3 weeks before first batch would ship so should be soon, I'm waiting as well

 

From last Wednesday (one week ago basically):

"Hi Ryan, Thanks for allowing us to get back to you with an update. We are expecting finalization of your Dual Subwoofer System this Friday and the testing and packaging to follow immediately. Looks like we are on track to get your Upgrade shipped out this upcoming week. We'll be providing shipping notifications as soon as they are live."

I bet they leave their facility Friday

 

Are most of you guys installing this kit w/ additional sound deadening or just leaving the OEM sound deadening as is?

 

If you have time and money, definitely do sound deadening on the doors while you're in there. I did skins and panels. Worth it Imo. I also did floor and behind back seat.

 

I have a bunch of extra high end sound deadening material for the doors and rear cab if you need it I'd sell cheap.

 

I added it to the doors only ..

had since the demo day, truck was used for initial fit-up and tune.

it really completes the system. Do not really used the bass boost much, for me it is more of a set it and forget it..lol

 

Ah, that's why it sucks I live on east coast haha
