Anyone else get theirs installed?

 

I still haven't installed mine. Been cold and or busy every weekend.

 

Probably going to do this in the spring. Just the amp/wire kit and sub. for $1099, I don't see why not. I did a complete system in my Tundra, and it was a pain (PPI 3 way front stage, NVX amp, JL sub, noico), and took way longer than it should have.

I'm having a local sound shop do a remote starter, I'll probably have them add speakers and sound deadening in the doors, because honestly, I don't feel like doing any of that this time around, and the plug and play is appealing to my current state of laziness......

Anyone use speakers other than the ones supplied in their kit? Suggestions?

 

Any more reviews of the double subwoofer option? Does the punch from the two 8's equal something like the JL audio stealth box 10? Also has the lack of volume from the rear speakers issue been addressed in the new build? Not really sure what the difference between the 450Q and the new 500Q system is. Thinking of ordering the dual sub setup just want to make sure the bass is acceptable. I listen to a solid amount of rap, edm, that kind of music. I don't want it to be pounding bass, I know that it won't be equivalent to 2x12s in a ported box, but I want to make sure that the bass is there with the 2 8's.

Looking to have mine before the end of the month! How long has it taken y’all to install them? I’m going to give it a whole day - I’m planning to do some YouTube filming which will add to the install time, but everybody loves build videos, right?

I’m stoked for mine, I heard a buddy’s in his 4Runner and I can’t stop thinking about upping the sound quality in my truck!

 

A lot of reviews on how the only thing they would change is additional bass, how does the sub compare to stock?

I have gotten mine installed with the gain control knob for base and I keep it about 1/3 power. A simple turn of the knob and you can have more base than you'll know what to do with!
