    Just got my 5100 series Billies installed today. One word... WOW!!!


    This shizt works!!! If anyone has a 1st gen and is debating about doing this, don't! Buy 'em and install 'em and you too will have a goofy grin after that first ride!!! ;)

    Bilstein has the minimum 1" rear lift requirement so that the shocks don't bottom out before the bump stop bottoms out. If those shocks bottomed out it would cause damage that could have been prevented by that 1" rear lift.

    However, you may not even need a 1" rear lift. A better way(if you aren't going to use a 1" rear lift) is to get bump stops that are 1" taller than OEM. Does anyone have any objections to this? Would this not work?
