OEM Bumper Parts Price/Availability

Wondering if anyone has an idea of what these parts will cost to swap out the plastic bumper pieces. Say to make a swap from the Chrome to a Painted or in my case eventually I'd prefer to swap from the Painted to a Chrome because I think Chrome rear bumper looks far better on a white truck.

I know toyota claims the move to a plastic bumper will lead to cheaper replacement costs should the bumper get damaged. Wondering how 'cheap' that really will be. Also wondering how challenging the remove & replace procedure will be.

 

What color is your truck? If it's silver w/o backup sensors we could swap .

 

I would think if you want chrome someone would be willing to swap you for your painted

 

I'll trade you my chrome pieces for your white ones, even swap.

 

They come unpainted and I am fairly sure if you search the forum here there is part numbers and prices listed.

 

The unpainted bumper caps are listed for $109 and the chrome bumper caps are listed for $179 through Toyota parts. Also, there are two versions of the unpainted caps, one with sensors and one without. I already switched my chrome ones out with a white set.

The OP wants the chrome ones vice the painted caps.

Just got rear-ended in my new truck and I have the quotes from the shop/toyota for bumper pieces.

Rear bumper - $118, L&R - Bumper "caps" - $175/each

 

Maybe an opportunity to get them color matched vice chrome.
