OEM Crossbars 2022 Tacoma Double Cab, I need accessories

I am sure I am not the only one with the challenge I am having right now, but I could not find an answer to my question in the short time I was looking. I have been looking for a cargo box (preferably)/cargo basket (alternatively) to sit on my OEM crossbars. I did not realize how challenging it was going to be until I went to REI and not a single THULE fits, that was a frustrating and confusing hour wasted. It seems there might be a Yakima option for a box, and there are a few baskets if I get an extension kit. Before creating some headaches for myself, would someone be able to recommend a solution? I would really appreciate it. Sort of new to the world of owning a Tacoma.

 

I’m following your question. Just tried to install a Thule cargo box on mine and was sorely disappointed. The Yakima I tried doesn’t work either. Good luck. I’ll let you know if I find out anything.

 

Could you buy the thule kit with the foot kit that attaches to the factory side rails then mount whatever u want? That's what I use on my subaru.
