Is there enough clearance under them to bolt on kayak cradles

An option to a box, is to wrap in one layer of bubble wrap, then wrap it all together in multiple layers of "Saran Wrap" with packing tape to hold it. ... easy to do, cheap supplies and it protects it well. Just an idea and bump.

@mike5krnr has a good point on the shipping. The only other thing is coordinating getting the weather strips from the buyer. By the time I ship em and get those strips its like 3 weeks later!

Are the weather strips a necessity? If they are, it's possible they could be gotten at a different time so you wouldn't have to deal with it.

I would want them for the new rack I'm putting on to keep it water tight up there. I do know part of the installation involves sealing off the drill holes so I suppose I could consider that leeway time to get them. I don't know how water tight the roof is if you didn't have them up there.
