I just replaced the AT20's on my '03 4-runner Limited. At 42k ish? Granted thats not great mileage but i am definetely a spirited driver. The Dunlops worked fine for me in the snow and even did some offroading in the snow where they did fine. Also lived in FL for past year and took it out on the beach a bunch and only got stuck once from bottoming out on a sharp ridge. My experience is the Dunlops are getting a really bad rap. Unwarranted. Quiet, smooth tires with good traction dry wet and worse. i see where they rank on tirerack too but don't understand it. Just bought my 07 tacoma sport which has bridgestone, and was considering swapping out my wheels and tires off the 4 runner before i sell it.

My Grand Treks had all of 1300 miles on them and they scared me on hot, dry pavement. My truck was like a drunken hog wallering and wandering down the road. There was no way I was trusting my life and others with them. I looked at the Tire Rack survey and disagreed, they should be dead last. I replaced them with Michelin LTX M/S2s. It is a totally different truck now.

I was never a fan of my dunlops, they are at 20,000 miles and in heavy rain they are horrible. Going to run them until decemeber and put my snow tires on and then buy a new set for spring. I dont recommend this tire past 20,000 miles. good for the summer on dry roads but thats it.

N-fabs, BakFlip VP, power tailgate lock, bed lights, "raptor" grill lights. Standard mall crawler stuff.
I can't wait until I wear my dunlops out so I have a reason to get a set of real 4wd tires.
