    Greetings all

I have been looking but only able to find an answer to this question for 2nd generation but can I just replace the carrier in my 3rd generation 4WD with a factory elocker from a 4WD donor vehicle or do I need to replace the housing as well? I looked at the parts manuals that I can find on line and the housing appears to be the same but I'm far from an expert. Obviously wiring us involved but I'm most concerned about how much of the rear end needs to be replaced to switch to an elocker differential.

    Thank You!

The elocker only comes in the 8.75" rear axle which is exclusive to the off road and Pro.

Eta: Non offroad manuals may come with the 8.75" axle also.

Was there a manual SR5? I thought the only manuals were Sport, Off-Road, Pro and SR.

E locker sucks anyways, get an ARB air locker that actually turns on when you want it to.

Toyota E lockers have to be engaged before the obstacle or its a pain to use it when you're actually stuck.

Even if the diffs were the same, the wiring would be tough.
