OEM Entune (non JBL) RCA input / source add

Ive done some research but just trying to make sure I understand correctly and order the right stuff.

So if i order this and plug it in, will i still have to do the pin jumps to see the source option or just plug in and be done

 

I really can't tell, but I am not sure why that wasn't already done in the harness? If complete, that is a great price though.

I have a different harness that I don't think is being made anymore. It was PnP though. The A/V input automatically showed up.

Also, if you dislike Sirius / XM like I do, you can pull those connectors and the sat radio app will go away.

This site states it should automatically appear after connecting harness. Anyone have it?

 

For the price, and if the reviews are good, it would be great to try.

I cannot 100% tell, but it looks like the speed sensor wire (green with bullet connectors) can simply be unplugged? Mine different harness came with an override switch. If you disconnect that, the navi will not work for the first little while on your first drive. After that, it will work fine, but the refresh speed is slower. It isn't a big deal at all for me as it is nice to have fully functionality all the time without guessing.

Switches or harness? If the harness, then you should already have the A/V source option? If the switches, then hooking the gps switch to the speed wire will control the override. One of those other terminals will give you the anytime reverse camera. I have really enjoyed that as I reverse in Neutral a lot.

 

I have the cali raised anytime front and rear camera harness kit with a switch for speed sensor. Now i want to add a source input for phone mirror

 

Oh! I think you just need a source switch for that. Basically, plug in both the front camera and phone input sources with the source switch doing that output work.

Adding the posted harness might not work as intended? Someone with more electron knowledge might have some better info though?

 

Ya i wanted the source option on the headunit that says AV. I dont think i should have to add anymore rocker switches

 

You're anytime front camera should be using that a/v input. Of course, it may be connected differently compared to mine.

 

My front camera is spliced into the rear camera input. Switch one way is normal reverse camera, switch another way shows front, switch in 3rd position shows rear in motion

I think I'll just pull the trigger and find out. I'll hold off on the hdmi converter and/or mirror device until I see if it works. I'll use an old DVD player to test
