    Installing McNeil fiberglass fenders and bedsides in the next 2 weeks and will have OEM cement grey fenders and bedsides (whole 1/4 panel, not just the fenders) for sale if someone wants them. Any reasonable offer will be considered. I'm in CT so willing to drive 100 miles or so if needed.

    Can anyone who has swapped out their fender flares comment on how difficult it was? Is it really necessary to purchase the OEM tape and rubber strip from the dealership for $200+ or is double sided 3m tape just as good?

    I tried the 3M tape it worked perfect on the rear but didn't turn out as well on the front
    The front has a rubber strip at the front where the flare and the bumper meet that is more of a anti wear strip than a securing tape

    I did buy the factory tape and rubber strip for the front on the next warm sunny day I will see if this looks any better than the 3M 1/4 inch

    Also be prepared for most of the blue and orange clips to break off when removing the flares ..... After the flares are off get lineman's pliers grab the old clip and gently turn clockwise while very gently pulling out to remove from the tuck without damaging your paint ..... Trying to use a tool or just pulling straight out is the hard way

    finally found some black flares near me for like $120 I think. Got them installed today because I had to replace all the orange and blue clips. Used 3M tape, a little tip is to put the clips in the flares and not the fender, makes it SO much easier. I had to beat the fenders pretty hard to get the clips to seat, but after they were in there, it looks OEM. Couldn't be happier!!
