Oem fender flares on a sr5

Nice how's it holding up so far? Really wanna do this to my truck but oem fender flares are hard to find an expensive, thank you for the reply back bro!!

 

i cleaned up all the OEM adhesive and applied my own tape

 

Looks awesome! How much total did this run you to do on your SR? I want to do this. Did these OEM’s just sit on top of the wheel well? Since SRs don’t have a flare?

No drilling at all correct?

OK - I'm confused - I have an SR5 and my fenders look just like hhn4334 - except painted! They actually make an SR5 with NO fender flares??

 

The SR comes with no flares, just the metal fender. The SR5 comes with painted flares, and therefore extend farther than the fenders on the SR by about 3/4" (the same as the OR black fender flares)

 

But the thread title was OEM fender flares on a SR5!
EDIT: Maybe he meant putting SR5 OEM fender flares on a SR.

 

I think he meant OEM off road black fenders flares on an SR5 haha

Yes some SR5’s come flareless. I have a 2016 MGM DCSB SR5 V6 that came flareless(new word?).

 

Where did you buy the matte black flares from if I may ask?

 

2016 SR5s did not come standard with fender flares. It was part of the appearance package option. I think in 2017, it became standard and the price went up.

My SR5 truck doesn't have fender flares.
