5K or less? The oil analysis data don't lie brother! BTW, I'm in NW metro myself, Acworth area.

I change oil roughly once a year. 3 cars, 2 drivers, we do not put many miles on vehicles, unless we go to visit family out of town. Taco had oil changed in early December, has less than 3K miles on that oil now (7 months). Bought in December of 2021, 11,500 on the odometer. Had only 2 oil changes on it, 1st was less than 5K, 2nd around 8K.
Wife's RAV went May 2023 to June 2024, 5,050ish miles.

Since I change oil myself, I do not care about the cost. By the last count I had enough oil for the next 5 or 6 years for all of my cars, even with occasional oil change on my step-son's car thrown in.

    W metro, Douglasville area here.

Don’t forget, a UOA will NOT tell you if you are building up sludge on the oil rings and risking a seizure. By the time a UOA will show this you have already scored the cylinder walls.

Just make sure to change the oil and filter at the recommended oil intervals and you'll be fine.

I change the Tacoma oil yearly or at 10k, whichever comes first since the last change. The Jeep is the same but at 7.5k.

    Yeah.
I have a catch can. It traps a few ounces of oil every 1k miles. I think it's neat. Probably extremely unnecessary, but neat.

Super Tech 0W-20 Full Synthetic is $18.64 for 5 quarts. So probably around $30 is a reasonable cost for a budget oil change.

    How about:

How much is my tacoma worth?

    Is this totalled?

What is the water dripping from my Tacoma?

Hmm, these two not so much, as those questions do always reasonably require attention and response on a case-by-case basis.

No but I'll add crush washers. My original washer finally came off the pan at my last oil change at 160k miles. I reused it of course with no problems as usual. I have another 4k miles to go before my 170k mile oil change to think about what I'm going to do. I'll probably change the drain plug due to head wear before the crush washer.

I want to know who sponsored the tests, or was it a bunch of companies so they can't be shown bias...?

I got a sticker and some cool valve stem caps...
I always just have O'Reilly match the walmart prices. I cant stand walmart and would refuse to have oil unlocked. I have the oil pulled up on the walmart website on my phone when I go in. Grab my oil, go to the counter, show the web page, done.
