Ditto - The Toyota All-Weather Liners lasted less then 2 weeks in my truck before being replaced by Husky X-act Contour Floor Liners. Much better coverage, fit, and floor protection.

I've got the oen liners and they provide good coverage for me. Of course, we rarely get snow, and the work good with sandy soil we have on the coast.

For all you experts, I have a 2017 Ac with the utility delete package. With no back seats should I have gotten the rear mats in the truck?

Living here is sub-tropical Florida, snow and slush are not a big problem, but sand is everywhere, and mats make clean up easier, Also do not like the passenger mats moving around,

Truck came with OEM all weather, I immediately saw that they were not as protective as Husky X-act Contour. The Oem's don't lap over the door sill as well as Husky's. Ordered and installed the Husky's.

Ok, so since the aforementioned "hook" appears to only exist in an Alternative Universe populated by dumb Tacoma salesmen...

I went ahead and installed the VW mat-securing hardware that I had bought about two weeks ago based on recommendations found in other 3rd Gen threads here on Tacoma World . . .

Reviving an old thread but I was curious as to why Toyota decided to remove the floor mat hooks on the passenger side on the 3rd gen. This is a huge pet peeve of mine because the mat on the passenger side keeps sliding forward. Has anyone found a solution to this? Or is it a matter of getting better mats?

Older thread but just went with 3D Max Spider floor liners. Substantially better than my weathertechs I ran on my last two trucks. More flexible, They don’t slide due to the gripped bottom, they run up further behind the pedals then my weathertechs, and they feel way better under your feet due to the foam layer in between the rubber surface and bottom.

They did not remove them.... They were never there to start.... They put them on the Driver's side to stop the dreaded "FLOOR MAT MADE MY TRUCK ACCELERATE" Issue they had years ago...!!!

And I agree... the 3D Max Spiders are sweet.... better than W/T's....

The coverage area on the husky weather beaters has been fantastic. I had generic weather mats in my old vehicle and rocks/dirt always seemed to collect right on the edge by the door. I imagine the same would happen with the OEM weather mats.

I have Husky X-act Contours and love them but the passenger side did slide down a little. I glued a small strip of the hook side of some Velcro on the mat. The hook side sticks to the carpet great without having to attach the loop side of the Velcro to the carpet.

I did have to use contact cement to get the Velcro to stick to the Husky mat. Did it last year and it has stayed put ever since.

I just got these. They are awesome compared to the regular Toyota rubber mats. Looks great in the truck too!

I have the new ones for 2018 and the passenger side has the attachments as well, since they now have them in the truck. I like them just fine, but I did negotiate them and the bed mat into my deal.

I have the OEM liners and the work well in snow and rain. I installed Eagle Klaws on passenger side so no sliding around.
