OEM Hard Tri-fold Tonneau Hinge Assembly Shim Installation

At the time I ordered my '17 TRD Pro I was told the OEM hard tri-fold tonneau was not available. Toyota has now made it available again. I ordered all the associated parts from my local Toyota dealer as a DIY project. My question for anyone here regards both hinge assemblies. The hinge assemblies each came with (3) 2.0 mm shims. I've been trying to find information on where to install them. Dealer techs here have not installed any of these covers and are of no help. I've tried contacting ASC the supplier to Toyota and have yet to receive a return call. Does anyone have any info that might be of help?

 

Were you able to order the hard tri-fold tonneau cover as an accessory? If so, where did you order it from?

 

Are these the shims for the front bed rail? OP location would help. If you are close I or someone could assist you.

Cover for Tacoma is not listed as an accessory and had to be ordered by individual part numbers from Toyota dealer. I understand cover for Tundra is being made available as an accessory.

 

I recently checked with Toyota and was told these were fine adjustment shims for the latches and probably wouldn't be required. Not sure why they were boxed with hinge assemblies. Thanks Jim for the offer.
