They’ll usually have Toyota stampings and I believe they’re manufactured in Mexico.

Not so much about looking cool, more so about dechroming. I dechromed everything else and I’m a little OCD but tbh the chrome is so little I feel like I won’t notice too much

Fog is wide w sharp cutoff to see road edges in poor conditions at low speed. Driving is aux high beam for distance vision at high speed. Fogs are legal on the street but aux high beam is not technically allowed per existing laws because they are fairly antiquated, that’s why your fog lights turn off when high beams turn on.

Thanks dave you need a custom harness for the amber backlit? Or does it work plug and play as advertised?

I believe the backlit SS3's come with a toggle switch in the kit. You can always wire them to a switch pro or auxbeam control panel as another option.

Fog pattern is wider, whereas driving pattern is narrower more straight ahead.

I opted for non backlit selective yellow max's for fogs and backlit selective yellow pros for ditch lights. I prefer the yellows over the whites for snow/dusty conditions. You really don't need backlit versions.
