    2006 Tacoma Access Cab
Noob here. Have a 2006 taco access cab with oem running boards (I think - light gray oval) and paint is coming off. No visible rust (yet). Thought about stripping them and painting myself (rattle can Krylon Hammered - not trying to spend a lot on the truck), but upon trying to pry up a step pad (or whatever you call it) there was a snap (clip I assume - old, brittle). Have replaced a few other things on truck and know they all have certain clips and I've had to replace them before.

Left it alone for now so I can't swear they are attached by clips - have a clip assortment already for Toyota, but thought I would ask the experts first. I "think" the bars are:

    PTS0935050PS
    PTS0935050DS

Before I take them off and pry off the step pads I thought I would ask. Can always buy new boards for $200, but why put more stuff in the landfill if not necessary.

    Any help would be appreciated
