(Jul2018) of course the very first thing to go was the grille. Added a TRD Pro grille

    IMG_6417.jpg

Also added an @CaliRaisedLed lower bumper hidden LED bar. Of all the things I put in, this ranks up there as one of my favorites. Super bright and clean install and don't have to worry about parking lot bandits stealing your stuff. :)

Suspension install with Method 305s. Work done at @TheToyotaGarage

I asked for the front to be set to 2”. The minileaf added about 1.5” in the rear and I wanted to retain a bit of rake so it will be more balanced during towing.

Parts/Install pics with gratuitous beauty shots:

    Some lighting bits:

With regards to the R4T grille lights, I originally ordered the 4-light harness in amber.

    IMG_1943.jpg
    IMG_2691.jpg
    IMG_3372.jpg
    IMG_2919.jpg

After a couple months, I thought the 3-light setup was better.

    IMG_4425.jpg

After buying BD fogs in amber, I noted that the BD lights and the grille lights are two drastically different shades of amber. So I decided to just swap the grille lights out for the white ones in smoked color to conceal them a bit more into the grille.

    IMG_8536.jpg

…aaaaand now I’m back to ambers. LoL

Before lift, I swapped in some 265/75R16 BFG K02s on my OEM TRDOR wheels.

This is a basic change. Basically a direct swap for OEM Wranglers (which aren’t really that great).

    Exterior lighting stuff:

In addition to the LED bar and ditch lights, I installed some OEM-style switches from AirOnBoard:
    • "Burn Ya Bastard" to LED bar
    • "Roo Lights" to ditch lights
    • "Flux Capacitor" to rear anytime camera

Light comparison on a back mountain road near Aspen, CO (Independence Pass) with the standard headlight/fog lights versus the @CaliRaisedLed LED light bar and ditch lights.

    IMG_3400.jpg
    IMG_3399.jpg

Also swapped the standard mounting bolts from @CaliRaisedLed for some "tamperproof" bolts.

Been awhile since my last update. I made a move back to Colorado (#LoveCO).

Since then, I’ve added a @CBI Offroad Fab Prinsu Rack and @upTOPoverland mid-height TRUSS rack.

Planning on some MaxTraxx boards before saving for an iKamper RTT and @DECKEDUSA bed deck.

More pics from Prinsu install after delivery from @runnin4tacos. The instructions said to fully assemble off the truck. But I was a one man show. So I did the side rails and then did cross bars individually. Lots of up and down and side to side crossing. Also your calves get a hellacious workout standing on the predator tubes. But it is very doable.
