OEM Pro Grille w/ after market TSS Garnish

Hey ya'll,

I'm planning on getting an OEM pro grille but am not willing to pay the money for an OEM garnish, has anyone bought an after market garnish with their OEM grille and it work? I really dont wanna have to choose an aftermarket grille just because the garnish. Thanks.

 

I’ve done it. Had it on for about 4+ months now. Zero issues. Bought grill with aftermarket garnish from Taco Garage. Grill came with the garnish installed.

 

I think every other person on here has done just that

No, Not OEM grill. Hence I elaborated that I got it from taco garage and garnish was pre-installed. I just figured OP was more interested in the non OEM garnish aspect and the grill itself.

Why do you want to spend ~$400 on an OEM pro grill? They all are plastic. You can get a quality aftermarket grill less than half that price with the garnish included. The garnish is also a piece of plastic. Yes, it works with the OEM grill.

 

An OEM grill is only 130, lol If im gonna pay a similar price id atleast get the original. Just the garnishes are 330 bucks which is stupid, but for some reason ive read that some garnishes dont fit correctly in after market grills.

Almost 2 years. After market grille and garnish. No issues. Just saying …

 

So I’m looking to get the heritage grill with bronze lettering to match the bronze trail wheels. I’m not spending $330 on the OEM garnish, but spending the $175 on the OEM grill. Any recommendations for aftermarket garnishes? The taco garage one seems to be the closest to OEM and doesn’t have reviews about the decal falling off like all the Amazon ones.

 

For what it is worth, I have the taco garage aftermarket, garnish. I’ve had no issues with it and it’s still looks like the day it was installed.

Agreed, the grille from The Taco Garage w/ the garnish is very high quality. I installed it on my truck three years ago. Still looks brand new and everything fit and worked perfectly. They're a great business.
