OEM rack question

    I'm buying a used OEM rack. In all the install videos or pics i've seen shows the rack sides as one piece. The pic the seller has it each side in 2 pieces like he separated the base when he removed it. Will this be an issue? I assume the tops will just snap back onto the bottoms, or were they never meant to be separated?

    That rubber piece that goes under the plastic side frames detaches like that.

    so the whole bottom base is okay to detach like that? Just never saw any installs were it wasn't one whole piece. Just wanted to double check.

    Yeah, I forgot how that rubber base attaches to the plastic frames but my rack did the same thing right out the box.
