I have an 09 Tacoma, Sport, PreRunner, double cab. My radio is beginning to have problems such as:
Cuts off for no obvious reason,
    Jumps satellite channels,
Cannot adjust channels with manual tuning knob,
Cannot adjust volume with manual volume knob.

Is there anyone else having the same problem?

yes numerous people. Take it back to the dealer and they'll order you a new one. Might take a few months to come in. Very common problems.
Had mine for a year now with no issues

Very common. Mine did that day 2. I called the dealer and they quoted me 9 weeks so I took it out and put in a aftermarket headunit.

Thanks for the quick replies. I had not searched the forum for any info before posting the question. I have now found many such problems and am printing all to take to my dealer.
    Thanks:)

Ok I took the truck to Toyota and they got the model # and ordered and replacement and they would call me when the replacement was in no question.... that was a few weeks ago.
Had radio replaced at Toyota this morning in 1/2 hour no problem (new radio seems to have better bass, loudness and clarity)

TJ Toyota's staff was quick and courteous. (That is the Toyota I used to know)

my 09 started doing same thing after 3-4 months. I told them about it and they pulled it and checked the wiring. Found nothing. Now they are ordering me a new radio. I have 12000 miles on the truck.

My '10 Taco had a faulty radio that they identified as faulty even before I took possession of the truck. I made sure the contract specified I was getting a new radio before I signed it.

Did the usual turn off without warning or the lcd display stopped displaying while the music continued.

Radio finally came in after a little more than 2 month wait. Replaced in less than an hour and so far so good.
