I have a the most basic model of the truck that naturally comes with the low end radio unit. I am considering getting the JBL radio that comes with the premium trim. I am curious if anyone here on the forum attempted the upgrade.
I did look at pictures of the different level units and it appears that the bezels are different for each radio as well.
My previous Tacoma was 2004 Regular cab manual transmission and that one came with a basic radio and tape deck. I bought a higher trim level unit with CD player from a member of this forum and installation was a breeze. I hope that it is "plug and play" setup for the 3rd generation trucks as well....
