I'm about to replace all my rear suspension parts with OEM or equivalent. (everything is old and worn/sprung)

From RockAuto I chose husky springs, u-bolts, and forward shackle bolt for the price and the claimed quality in the product description.

I also chose KYB rear shocks part KG5462

I'm keeping the original u-bolt plate/seat but there is no bump stop on the top. Should there be one? If I'm missing it, should I order one? Can I do without it? I assume its part no. 48306-04040, but I don't like the price on those and don't know what aftermarket option would work if any.

I'm also replacing the rear shackles, because I expect the old one to break when I remove it. I have part no 04483-04050 for that. Some sites say it doesn't fit my 2003 4x4 but I'm pretty sure it does. Alternatively I'm considering an after-market shackle to save money like the maxtrac https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D3XVPI2. Would these work for a stock rig or should I pay more for the OEM part? If I went with the MaxTrac, would I need to find a new bushing? Does anyone have any alternative advice on the rear shackle?

Yes, you should get a new bump stop. You don't have to go OEM. look around. Any brand will work.

Skip the lift shackles- just get a Doorman OEM equivalent set of rear shackles. It looks like they come with the upper bushing.

Those Huskey springs will have new bushings in the eyes.

Expect that the new springs will have a higher ride height until they settle in (take before measurements- ground to fender is ok, as you'll just be comparing before and after on your own truck). This may or may not result in drive line vibration. Don't go to full torque on the new u bolts until you figure out if you have a vibration or not. If you do, you get to experience the fun (pain) of figuring out what degree shim to install.

Thank you. I don't know why I didn't find those in my searches.

Sheeiiiiit, I didn't expect it would be that much of a PITA. Thanks for the heads up.

Actually I think I'll go with these bc general springs' website isn't working properly right now. .

Full pair for the same price with free shipping. I have the upper bushings in another cart elsewhere $4 a piece (where I'm buying new crossmembers for the frame [thats another story]).
