Anyone have the OEM roof rack on a 2020? I have read that it won’t quite fit due to the shark fin.

Depends on the build date. It was Feb 17, I think, they changed the fin location back again to clear the rack. If they went to that effort I doubt an OEM rack will ever be available for the early 2020's.

Based on what I've seen, mattleg is correct. The antenna location was changed in February and the existing roof rack was made available for 2020's again.

Call and complain to Toyota. I have and continue to ping my dealer.

I have one installed and my truck was build pre 2/17 and the back crossmember hits the antenna.

Bought mine 12/27/2019. Not sure of build date.

JPA is right. I got mine in October, had the rack installed as part of the purchase and it was immediately apparent it wasn't right. Dropped it off last week to get it removed after finally seeing the final official resolution is "no resolution". Truck is still at the dealership waiting on replacement weather stripping.

Going with a louder, heavier more expensive Prinsu rack but whatever.

Unfortunately some 2020 owners will have to come up with plan B for a roof rack. You have at least 4 aftermarket choices that I am aware of. Pick your battles carefully.

What all is available? I am looking at Prinsu...but says 2005-2019. I am still waiting for Prinsu to respond with whether it will fit on a 2020 or if any special modifications have to be made.

I ordered the OEM rack. I won’t be able to use it unfolded, that’s not a big deal though. I had one on my 2012 model and never used it that way either. I have a cargo basket I use and the mounting brackets on the basket don’t line up with the rack crossbars. I made my own crossbars and use them instead of un folding the ones on the roof rack.

installed one on my early 2020 this weekend. works perfectly, in fact most Tacomas require you to install the rear-most par vertically to clear the antenna. Since these antenna are forward a bit, you can install it horizontally like the rest of them with 1/8" clearance.

What rack is that? How loud is it on the highway?

It’s the Prinsu rack, haven’t gone on the highway yet.

Perfect fit of the Prinsu on an early 2020. A bit more aggressive than I’d choose on my own but well at least it fits.

Someone makes a lower profile shark fin. Can't remember who and unsure if it'd make a difference but I read about it in a different thread the other day. Worth looking into.
