I have the Load Warrior on mine and it fits on the OEM rack with the 18" extension installed, albeit not perfectly centred in the mounts, but the mounts are designed to accommodate different shaped bars so it wasn't much of an issue

My biggest issue with the OEM racks was buckling at the cross bar joints with a fairly small load in the basket (~50lb including the basket which weighs 32lb), it worried me driving with it on the highway so I took it back to Toyota and they replaced it under warranty.

I didn't bother reinstalling it as I feel it is a design issue with the crossbars, but I do really like the look of it. I may instead sell the Loadwarrior and go for the Bajarack that bolts directly to the factory attachment points. The advantage to this is that you get an extra 100 lb load rating (Bajarack claims 200lb), and I can still carry my canoe on top of the basket.

If I was going to install the basket on the OEM rack again, I would definitely go with the aftermarket crossbars.

Anyone know the dimension of the crossbars off hand? I have a Yakima powderhound rack and am trying to find the compatible brackets for the OEM racks.

I currently have a thule foot pack that has the clips. I've got a 450R foot pack that goes on factory rails that I want to use, but can't seem to find the rails like that. Seems like I've seen some factory rails that aren't the stowaway type, but maybe not.
