    Hi all, first post here.
I have done some reading about the OEM roof racks and am aware that I need to use silicone and better washers. This rack is more of a support for my boat as I am going to get a canopy with racks but the boat is 12' long so this rack will help support the length of it.

My question is regarding the part # of these racks.
    PT278 35140 vs PT278 35170
Will both of these work with the 2021 tacoma?
Looks like the 170 replaced the 140 but there doesn't look like anything has changed.
    Thanks

There was some problems with the racks hitting the shark fin antenna on some of the newer model years, it may have something to do with that but not sure. Also that Amazon vender has bad reviews so I wouldn't order from him.

Thanks for the reply, I don't plan to order from Amazon, don't know how that link got attached.

PT278 35170 replaced PT278 35140 i believe the bars either sit a bit higher or a bit more forward to accommodate the new shark fin antenna location, which was moved further forward.

load capacity is still 75lbs... two 16' fiberglass sea kayaks up there. one is about 40lbs, but the other is north of 60lbs for my male physique. likely too much weight for it, especially over a 350km all highway trip.
