I want to replace my OEM black rims with OEM silver/grey spoked rims. I have found Toyota part number 4261104150 which is described as "silver" and Toyota part number 426110230 which is described as "dark grey". I can't tell the difference in color but I am color blind. Do you all see a difference in these pics? I'm not sure which of these wheels is offered on the current 2021 model which is what I want, if you know please inform me. Thank you.

First picture looks a little darker, however, you should just look into powder coating your current ones. It should also be cheaper. Or im sure someone on the forums is selling their stock wheels

Don't make a decision on color from what you see on your computer monitor, unless you have a calibrated monitor for graphic design. The colors on your monitor are unlikely to be an exact match for the actual item.

Looks to me like the spoke faces are the same color but the difference is in the recessed areas.

there is a set of dark grey for sale on this forum, does the 2021 SR5 come with the dark grey or silver? I know I'm asking for some obscure information but hoping I get lucky and someone will know.

Just go by the part number. Also, you could probably find a lightly used set of silver wheels on this forum or other online sites.

thanks for help, when I look into shipping is costs a fortune but then on line sellers offer free shipping, haven't got that figured out yet. I'm really kicking myself for not getting the rims I wanted when I bought my truck. didn't think it would matter that much to me.

I would wait and keep an eye out on the forums, Facebook and Craigs list for a cheap used set. I've seen sets of those for sale in good shape for $300. I found a nice used set of OEM offroad wheels for $300. I spent another $25 in gas driving to pick them up.

I have the dark gray on my 21 sr5 and it seems sort of like a platinum gray. Definitely a lot darker than the silver.

I'm going to stop being stupid now and buy the set locally if still available. One has the curb rash but heck I can buy one new one to replace it or have it fixed. they are the dark grey and they will look great on my truck.

I’ve had rim repair for minor scrapes done in the past. The cost runs about $100 per wheel.

I bought the local wheels with the OEM rims I wanted. They are really nice looking except for the one scuffed area. They had new tire pressure sensors, center caps, and lug nuts. Tires are practically new but I went and got some Wranglers Kevlar All Terrains for a really good price. So in the end I spent 500 for used OEM wheels, 757 for new Wranglers mounted and balanced, 100 for one rim repair for a total of 1357. I will sell one set of used tires for 200 and sell one really low mile set of OEM black rims with tires, center caps, TPMS, and lug nuts for around 850. Net cost should be around 307. I'm giving my black oval steps to my son in law who also bought a new Tacoma recently. Now my Tacoma should have the look I want.

I’m glad it worked out. What size Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar tires did you go with?

The new tires are Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar size 265/70R16. The originals were Firestone Destination P245/75R16. I think only the SR and SR5 models used the 245's so the 265's should fit ok.

My problems are still ongoing with these wheels. I took the scuffed wheel in to be fixed. The place I took it to was not good. A comedy of errors and I end up with a silver wheel for 185 bucks instead of the dark grey I need. So I gave up on them, ordered another V spoke rim from California, and it turns out to be charcoal color. so now we have three separate colors for these V spoke rims. does anybody know of the three different Toyota part numbers that coincide with these rims? is there someplace where I can see all the different rims offered for each year of Tacoma production? thanks

Hate the new dark gray color on my 21 SR5. They pretty much are black. Would swap for the previous silver on the SR5's.
