I am looking at winter wheels for a 2021 sr5 and can source the stock toyota 5 spoke steel wheels. Part # 42601AD041
Can someone tell me how these might differ from the stock alloys I have now?

In regards to offset, I read the steel wheel is +30mm vs the +25mm of the alloy. Am I correct in thinking the steel wheel will place the tire/wheel 5mm inboard?

Were these steel wheels offered on the 2021 sr5s? With the stock tire size, I can't imagine there would be a chance of rubbing?

    Thanks

Just buy OEM take off from facebook market place. They usually come with tires and are cheaper.

Have you checked your spare? Tacos that come with OEM alloy wheels come with steel spares. The 42601AD041 wheel could be what you have as a spare which would mean they would work no problem as a full time wheel. I'm currently running an OEM steel wheel on my '20 OR with zero problems.

Good idea, I checked and it's a different wheel. I assume this spare has the same offset as the oem alloys. I'm now concerned using this spare with the 42601AD041 wheels might be damaging? Any thoughts?
    Thanks

Chances are the spare you have and the 42601AD041 will work together no problem. But if you haven't bought the 42601AD041 wheels yet, I would suggest using the type spare you have all the way around. That way you know the wheel is designed for your particular vehicle. @SJC3081 suggests searching marketplace for take off wheels/tires from a SR5 which is another good idea. One thing to remember is for permanent use a steel wheel uses a tapered/acorn type lug nut as opposed to a mag style lug nut.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll get the 42601AD041s as it's a good deal. I have see some rough, cheaper examples of this wheel online. One of those and a used tire for a spare might be the cheapest option.
It just means changing the spare along with the others as the seasons change.
