Hey been awhile since I've posted.

Who's running these? Could you guys/gals post some pics of them on your rig?

I have a chance to get a set to replace my corroded factory aluminum ones.

    thanks!

you could sand and paint the aluminum ones. that's my goal this year I think. they look good in charcoal or even regular silver.

my truck came with then but I pulled the center caps off and sold the set of caps for $80, then I bought these to put on it, unless your standing right next to it you cant tell they aren't chrome rims. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-CHROME-01...-Covers-New-/380375081345?hash=item58901f2181

its a much better look IMHO and I even pocketed $25 on the center caps for hub caps deal they are SS so no rust issues and it gives you the custom look without any concerns about theft or having to polish them

I went gunmetal and rattle canned em! After careful wire-brushing and acetone prep of course...;)

Also, those plasti-chrome covers and center caps looked nowhere near as good as steelies on their own!

Looks good guys. I particularly like the gunmetal and black painted look. I can get the set with caps for 100 dollars, I just worry about the longevity if I paint them here in Minnesota. I'll figure out something pretty soon, they do look better than I would have thought though!! thanks

just touch them up every year. as long as there are no big chips there shouldn't be rust developing. and make sure to take care of the back side too, most forget to do this.
