Is your truck a 2011 or older? You'll need a different surround for that radio to fit.

Ha! I almost bought that same radio from the guy on OfferUp. I showed up to look at it but everything was pretty well beat up and not in the condition I was hoping for so I passed on the purchase.

A handful of us have done this swap. I put a 2014 radio into my 2010. There are some threads about this already if you search and there are some differences between years and JBL vs non-JBL.

Good, cause if you had a JBL then you'd be selling the radio you just bought since it won't work in a JBL equipped truck.

You should start by pulling your stock stereo out to compare the connectors. Different years have different wiring and despite what some will tell you online you can't predict this 100% based on year/model. Luckily the stereo comes out very easily. I'd suggest pulling yours out, documenting it as best you can with photos then put it back in and start your research on how the wiring will need to be setup.

This is correct. The guy he bought it from was actually selling that too, but it was for a non-4x4 :( Finding that radio surround is not all that easy and they are surprisingly expensive. Plus, you'll need a new 4x4 switch since the 05-11 switches are different from the 12-15.
