My 2016 Taco has the OEM tri-fold tonneau cover installed. I know how to remove the cover itself by taking out the bolt, but I want to take the complete thing off and get a cap instead. I hope that I might be able to sell the cover, but the two sets of latches that are on the inside edge of the truck bed sides would have to come off. Anyone have any experience with this?

Sell cover WITH your bed side covers (with cutouts) - trade bed side covers with person buying your tonneau cover. 5 minute change out. Just need to meet and do it in person at time of exchange.

Thanks, hoping that a swap will work out for me. Checked price for OEM non-cut out bed rail covers and they go for about $300 for the pair.

The person that purchases your cover will need to cut his ... best to just swap them at time of sale. Easy to take off... peal up starting at the cab and go towards the rear.. they are held in with clips.
