OEM Tailgate parts

I'm a new member here. I backed into a tree and damaged my tailgate. I found a replacement tailgate at a used auto parts place intact. I stripped all the parts off the old tailgate figuring that someone may need them. My truck is a 2010 PreRunner. I'll be listing them on ebay early next week.

What I have here are tailgate parts from a 2010 Toytoa Prerunner 6cyl. Almost everything you need is here except the shell, one Toyota emblem, handle mounting screws, and one screw (large) I have six screws that hold the inner cover to the shell, It calls for seven. Everything else is here. Tailgate cables, handle (non camera), side linkage, inner cover, tailgate top molding, and all the emblems intact except the small Toyota one mentioned above. The molding,handle and the cover has minor scratches on them from normal use. No cracks or chips. The handle and tailgate locking mechanisms work fine. All sales are final! What you see is an actual photo of the items. Flat shipping rate of $19.95 anywhere in the lower 48. Check with Toyota before biding that a 2010 tailgate will fit your truck. To the best of my knowledge, all 2005-2012 tacoma 6cyl trucks use the same tailgate except for the ones that have cameras. But even those are interchangeable minus the camera handle.

I've got a new-in-box factory shell that would go good with all this stuff if someone needs a complete unit...$200 in Long Beach (paid around $500 for it).

That's what I paid for a full replacement...$550.00 plus $150 to paint....OUCH. That tree cost me dearly

 

cant see really well but how much for the little plastic thingies that hold the rods to the handle on the inside

 

The linkage and the handle would be around $40.00.

Note I'll wait a few days before splitting up the kit just in case someone needs to rebuild a complete tailgate. Since lbhsbz has a shell. I have just about everything else to rebuild a complete tailgate.

 

I backed into one last week and smashed it good. Found someone parting out a SWB Tacoma and I'm picking up his tailgate...I hope.

 

Changed my mind, I want this crap outta the garage. $75 for my tailgate shell. New in the box from the dealer.

 

My taco 2011 got the tailgate stolen. I also bought a used tailgate shell and looking around for all those parts with no success. If someone has them, please please please let me know. Thanks!
