OEM Tonneau Cover Delete Questions

I'm back in a Tacoma after a few years. I got a 3rd gen 2018 Tacoma with an OEM Tonneau cover. I ordered a Allied Expedition bed rack and will no longer be needing my OEM cover. There are pins that the cover clips into, and after removing the cover, I feel like I am going to want to, or possibly need to remove the pins. Doing so would leave gaps in the bed side caps.

Do they make plugs / caps to go into these holes? Or do I need to get new bed side caps in order the make this work?
