Just in case it need to come off for ease of hauling stuff in the bed (e.g., motorcycle) - how hard is it to completely remove and reinstall the EOM Toyota tonneau cover?

Very easy. There is a bolt in the front passenger side you have to remove (it's a NHTSA requirement since its OEM) then just pull the releases and fold it up. Only takes a minute or two.

What if I want to completely remove it and all install hardware? I heard that the rails are cut during the installation of the pins.

    Thanks!

That's true. There are pins that are still there which can be removed but your bed is cut to accommodate them.

Thanks! Was close to buying a truck which I really like (inferno DCSB Sport) but I want a cap, not a cover - especially if the cover destroys the bedrails.
