I was looking at post #32 @Spare Parts, not sure if it's part 64976? When I bought my tonneau I had one broken off also. I had used a plastic epoxy and let dry for a few days before re-installing.

I think I have the part number for the passenger side. The rubber seal will be backwards if you order 2 of them. The seals are removable with a torx bit if you peel back the rubber.

I have the OEM tonneau installed on my '17 long bed. I'd like to use the latch bolts to secure a hard top. My goal is multi-functional use, where I can quickly swap the tonneau for the topper and put down a sleeping platform. Has anyone else looked into this?

I don't have any pictures of them installed at the moment, but they do fit. The part that slopes faces forward towards the cab and the small lip at the bottom of the slope hangs over that front edge. You have to trim the front of each rail underneath where the rail and rubber plug come together and touch. I know this is really hard to read, but I hope it makes sense.

I will attach some pictures to let you know which one goes to which side:

Hi. Anyone have the tonneau cover owner’s manual on PDF? I probably missed that in the thread.

If anyone's curious, cutting the bed rails is possible without power tools. I used a small pair of shears and it cut through the plastic no problem.

So where do you find these 6 mounts that you thread in the holes after taking off the bed rails? There is no mention about this

In a perfect scenario you get them from the previous tonneau owner. Sometimes they put a canopy on and don't realize they could save a bunch of people the headache by removing everything and swapping cut rails before they install their canopy. You would have to order all of the pieces and bolts through toyota and then cut your existing rails to make them fit. What do you currently have in your possession and how much did you pay for it?
