Well I finally got around to acquiring an OEM tonneau cover. A gentleman had one for sale on Craigslist but he was too far away to make it feasible for me to drive to it. I finally had a friend who was driving through and they were kind enough to go and pick it up for me. $200 for the cover and $50 for my friend for getting it. Super happy with the the cover. I had one screw break during install and I had to remove it and retap the hole. Pretty simple install overall.

How much did you spend on hardware?

I've never liked tonneau covers until my body got a '16 with one on it. They are handy and the OEM looks nice. I ended up getting one new with my truck.

If I were smarter I would have just got one used like this.

Only thing I wish it could do is allow the front section (closest to the cab) to fold back to access the front of the bed. Like my Extang Encore does...

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Can you snag a pic of the railings/screws? I am looking to get one of these but I don't know how to mount it.

Is there any mods out there for these? Being able to access the front area like an encore would be awesome.
