My OEM hasn't leaked since new. Must be how they're installed. It's a bit of a pain sometimes but it's the best option for me. I use it maybe twenty times a year. It's easy enough to remove too.

I went ahead and purchased it and it looks dang good for $200! Most of them are $700+ and I had all hardware installed. We will see how the water holds up but so far not bad in my opinion.

You literally can't beat 200 compared to 1100 for a new bakflip mx4. Cost to benefit ratio highly favors the one you got.

gratz on the deal. i was thinking of selling mine similar to the guy that sold you yours. i took it off last spring to put my bed rack and tent on, my cover sat in my car port for a year and a half gathering dust and just didnt look good. i recently bought a house with a garage and washed the cover off, it looked brand new. so i took my rack and tent off for the winter and put my cover back on. its great. sure there are other options out there, but the oem one works fine. idk what people are putting in their beds that they need it water tight. i bought a truck expecting stuff in the bed to be exposed to the elements. so this cover is a bonus, plus added security when you lock the tailgate.

one thing i wasn't aware of until months of owning it, when you're closing the cover, the last section can actually click twice, making it a bit more secure. you have to apply a lot of pressure to get that second click, but it seals quite a bit more

Hey, thanks for the tip!! I wasn't aware it clicked twice and the back where the tailgate latches did seem a little looser than the front. I will give that a try! I agree thought, I don't see this fading in Oregon where we don't see much sun and I also use Pearl by CarPro and it has UV protectant in it anyways. If people are just using car washes obviously there stuff will fade more. I will see how long it holds up!

Thats interesting with the double click, but mine doesn't happen that way, its one solid click and its latched down as far as it goes. I always set the tonneau cover latch first while the tail gate is still down.

Count me as another fan of the OEM cover. It is one heavy duty mutha-phucka! I bet you could stand on it and not hurt it.

If you have a leak, there is a thread on here where you move some spacer plates around in the top, I did that and it works a lot better now.

Heck i've piled some fairly heavy objects already on top of my cover that had to be close to 80 lbs...no problem at all.

Same with this wolfsteins stuff. The water beads right off for months. Its the suns ultra violet rays i worry about which this stuff is suppose to be very good against.

I am about to purchase either a 2022 or 2023 TRD Pro. I have my factory tonneau from my 2021 TRD Off Road, and all the necessary mounting hardware. However, I notice that on the 2022 TRD Pro, the factory tonneau is no longer an option, and I am concerned that the bed may not have all of the predrilled and threaded holes. Can anyone confirm that the mounting points are still there, or better yet, confirm that the factory tonneau can be fitted to a 2022 TRD Pro?

Dealer told me no more hard cover Tonneau available for my 2022! Anyone have a part number?

need to live in Canada to get it that way. It’s a ton of pieces and parts and well over 2k if you try to by it that way from Toyota in the USA. Best option is used or drive to Canada.

Oh I didn't realize that. Is it simply a factory option at this point? There are a couple of locals selling... $500.

no idea, that was the only way to get it, I have seen some posts where people said you couldn’t get it in the states at all anymore new. No idea if that is true. It was just factory add on in years past.

make sure to swap the plastic bed rails with people if you go used.
