Long story short over the past month or so I’d been attempting to “adjust” my cover to get it to seal better. Not much luck there, I was able to get it a little better with the removal and juggling of the latch plates. I’m now attempting to return it back to normal other than the plates. I had removed some of the small round bumpers shown below which brings me to my question.
There are 4 of these bumpers on the tailgate panel,(pic1) two on the center panel (pic2) and 4 on the cab panel correct?
The third picture shows the tailgate end of the cab panel bumper, are these the ones that have the thick metal washer under the bumper? (circled)82F70321-2EAD-4A54-ACFC-923A3DF3EEF6.jpg E0349232-6002-4E2E-B138-083FC47531A8.jpg E377DBCB-851F-423D-9F59-F9E0CA45270D.jpg
There are two thick metal washers under two of these bumpers on the cab side panel if I remember correctly?
These washer bumper combos have slightly longer screws attaching them to the underside of that panel. My ultimate question is which part of this section do the washer/bumper go. The side closest to the cab or the side closest to the tailgate. I think that I remember them being closest to the tailgate but am not 100% sure.
    Thanks in advance folks.

Sat bump… anybody willing to crawl under their OEM cover and take a look at these bumpers on the cab side third panel. Need to know where these washers fit.
    Thanks

At quick glance, there aren’t any bumpers on the panel closest to the cab.

So on your cover you don’t have these bumpers? This is the underside of my cab panel in the area where to safety-hold down bolt goes.DDF75AC9-1301-4434-96C0-B906E0874236.jpg

Mine leaks absolutely 0. Dry as can be. It's currently off but I'll check it out in a few. Do you want a pic of it off?

That’d be great, a pic of the underside of the cab panel in the areas that I have circled, thanks a bunch.

Just looked at mine. Your pic looks correct. Spacers on aft bumpers of cab panel

Thanks a bunch, I thought that’s how they were but wasn’t 100%. Mine isn’t terrible as far as leaks go but I was trying to make it better, once again thanks.

Same with mine as of late. Not a single drop leak by after storm ida dumped 1/2 foot of rain this week. When it was brand new just a few drops on the driver side. Everything must of settled this past winter sealing even better.
