    it there are cut outs and you have to place a shim or plastic piece there, is there a way to just dill hole in rail cover to match up with screw hole?.....its probably only there not to allow the paint not to be scratched....or is the thickness of the rail to thick?

    yea i like the BakFlip MX4....had mine for 2.5 years....leaks a little with extended rain......my issue is that it has 3 tape stains where warning labels were and now has faded to a mikly brown.....looks like brown dust all over it....how do you keep the black color? I may have to tape off and spray paint with rustoleum high temp flat black grill paint

    Tried Goo-Gone yet? If not, 99% Isopropyl alcohol should do you pretty well to remove those tape adhesive stains. My go-to for adhesive / spray paint removal. Unless I'm reading this wrong

    I have a factory tonneau I just took off my 2019 Tacoma Offroad Dual Cab Short Bed, so less than a month on my truck. I have all the hardware in a bag. Bed caps are under the Leer cap I just bought, be we could probably take it off to do a cap switch.



    THIS TONNEAU IS SOLD.

    You cannot give them away here in the mid-west. Buddy dropped his 6' OEM tonneau cover with hardware down to $200. Has had it for sale on Facebook for a couple months now. I have fielded a couple people wanting it then they see it is for a long bed and that is that.

    I have told him what I would do with it...
