Has anyone come up with a way to lock the OEM Tonneau Cover? I have the locking tailgate, however someone could theoretically snake a wire hanger under the tonneau's rear lip and pop the release handle.

Was thinking of installing the loop side of a lock hasp on the underside of the rear edge of the tonneau and cable locking it to the rear tie down cleats/D-rings. Thoughts?

Someone could also theoretically pry the dang thing open with a crow bar! I think there is really only so much you can do here brother; if they want to get past your tonneau cover, they will get past it.

Post a video of you using a coat hanger to open it. It wont be as easy as you think.

It only keeps an honest person out. If someone wants in the back or if they want to take your whole truck, they will do what they need to do to get it.

I accidentally locked my tailgate with the cover closed and the lock disabled in the tailgate. I thought it would be easy to grab the handle with a wire...an hour later I finally got it. It also appeared that if you lifted/pried the cover up it made it very difficult to pull the handle. I am not sure if that was an intentional design or just a side effect of having pressure on the latch.
