My 2018 OEM plastic tonneau cover is badly oxidized. Completely light grey (picture coming) and looks terrible. I used the Meguires Ultimate Black product with a DA foam polisher and it didn't last. I'd like to dye it black and I found this product on Amazon.

Anyone have experience with this product? I don't think the bottle would be enough for a tonneau cover?? Any other product recommendation?

    Thank you!

Cerakote trim restore works well, that's what I use on my newer truck just to protect and it's easy to apply. Comes in pre soaked wipes. but your best bet would be Solution Finish. It will bring it back and protect. I believe it has black dye in it as well

I'm not familiar with that product, but it looks simialr to Solution Finish, which is a die/topcoat, and has a longder life span than a dressing, but does need to be redone about every year or so depending on your local weather and how often you wash your truck.

I highly recommend Cerakote Trimcoat. It's an actual coating, and it's super easy and fast to apply. The packaging says it will last for about 200 washes. I put it on my trim parts 2 summers ago and it's holding up great.

Mine was all black-grayish and patchy. I used Cerakote Ceramic trim and it worked great. Took about 11 months under harsh California-Arizona sun before it started to get spotty again. I just re-applied it last weekend.
