Well that's definitely a better outcome than I figured would happen.

Edit: check the new one over with a fine tooth comb. Don't accept anything they tell you verbally that isn't also in writing. Plus, if you should shake someone's hand, remember to count your fingers afterward.

Yeah the dealership I got the truck from in the first place has a very good rep for customer satisfaction. Im psyched on how they handled the situation. Thanks to you guys as well, I'd be SOL towing my boat around.

If you read the whole thread, the dealer is getting him a different truck.

You can upload Media easy enough, but I find it almost simpler to host photos on Imgur and link them over.

I'm glad that the dealer is correcting the issue. But why would they sell the truck to begin with then? Are they just going to pass it on to an uninformed consumer?

No i dont believe so. I think it happened because the salesman was somewhat new and i was too horny for it to actually have a brain.

Wonder what the dealer is planning on doing with the truck you have now, pass it off on the next guy and hope he doesn't know its missing?

603sign I just signed up to Tacoma World because of your Don hertzfeldt gif profile thing. That is by far the best I've seen. My college roommates and I used to watch "Rejected" on a daily basis.

Also good call on the switching the truck with a true tow package.

Salesman will probably get disciplined for his actions. But at least the dealership corrected what the salesman did and hopefully he doesn't do stuff like that again.

If I was the dealership Mgr I'd give the sales guy props for ballsy-ness. Shit every time I bought a new car/truck the salespeople tried Shady McShaderson on me. Isn't that shit a job requirement?
Yer No-bro if you don't call em out on it, just sayin... they expect you to hit em back.

If I start dealing with a shady salesman I just walk away. I can always find another dealer.
