OEM TRD Lift TSS sensor

So for the TRD lift it states that it's the only kit that is certified to work with the TSS. Many of us were left wondering if it was just due to being relocated lower or not.

Digging around I found that the Sensor on this kits part number is 88210-04080

The part number on the TSS for my 22 OR is 88210-04010

So it appears to be a completely different sensor. Going further down the rabbit hole I found this

Do we know if this is accurate? Could it be beneficial if true to replace ours with this one for our lifted trucks?
