Current list price in Canada, including installation, (which is how all our accessories are priced) is $3437.08, so around $ 2580 US. I think that has gone up in the last while...I got one added to my new 2022 in late August and the dealer charged only $ 2815, all in (around 2111 $US). I'm pretty happy with how that worked out, especially since I would have added the TRD Pro grille anyway, so the net cost on the lift was (I think) pretty reasonable and it's fully covered by warranty.

I don't know why they would put that out. We have been putting them on LB's and our shop foreman said it wouldn't cause any problems. Like I said, it's on mine and I have no problems. Guess toyota is just being overly cautious

I've read on here of both dealers installing them on long beds and dealers saying no. Personally I don't get it either but hey, what do I know :) I have two strikes against me - long bed and 4x2 lol

I read that the TRD lift was not tested on the DCLB and this seems to be the reason that they exclude it. It's all about liability. There are plenty of folks that have done it without issue.

    Agreed.

Drive it for a while...at least until you put 40/50K miles on those tires.

Drive it for at least a year before deciding to get an ECU Tune. (If that's ever in your plan)

    Everyone has different spending habits.

Not everyone bought an Extended Warranty.

I could go on but the point is, there are lots of variables.

At the end of the day, we do what we want to do with our Tacomas because it makes us happy.

I would like to lift my truck 2-3 in the front, 2 in the back. No off roading, purely for the look.

Any thoughts on the most cost affective way to do this?

My advice would be don't go too cheap, and avoid spacers. It will save you time and frustration in the long run!

Dealer installed mine with the new tires before I ever saw the truck. It was $2100 and change, I'm very happy with it!

    The kit is $1,200.
7-8.5 hours labor max is what you should be seeing.
Closer to 7 hours labor $2,000 otd.

Anything more you’re getting taken advantage of.
