I agree. It drove me nuts that the drl's were brighter when in auto, but dimmed when the parking lights came on.

Now I am going to take them apart and upgrade the drl's (hopefully). Mesojdm did it on another set so now I want to, but i haven't ever taken headlight housings apart so I am a little scared lol

Do you happen to know what each of those wires is for? I'm sure black is ground.

    Thanks,

Here is what I have for the oemassive harness (same for passenger side)

    2018-05-22 08.10.23.jpg

Here is what I have for the oem harness

I didn't do a card like this for the passenger side, but here is the wiring:
    White/Black - Ground
    Green - DRL (auto)
    Blue - Parking

    2018-05-22 08.10.00.jpg

Here shows what wires are activated when turning the lighting switch to each stage.
    The abbreviations are:
    PL = parking light
    HL = head light

    2018-05-22 08.10.14.jpg

And here is how I have it wired up right now so that the drl's are at full brightness when the parking lights are on (this is the picture from the driver side)

oem massive pin config for drl's.jpg

In modern vehicles, negative (black) is grounded.

To be more accurate though, the negative (black) is bonded to the chassis. Since the vehicle sits on non-conductive tires, nothing is actually grounded.

No problem. I had to ask for some help when wanting to wire them differently so I got to pay it forward and share lol

Bounce, meaning they move physically? I don't have any issues with hid's in mine at all.

yeah- exactly- they physically move- like as if they are loose in the housing as I go down a bumpy road
    - I have checked the light housing as well- I have not removed them from the housing though.

I would try removing the bulbs from the housing and try re-seating them into the housing because they shouldn't be physically moving inside the mount on the housing.

Sure looks that way. Can it be tightened from the back or is it internal? Send that video to company to see if they will send you replacement?

I did exactly that. I emailed them with the vid.
I will make time this weekend to see if I can tighten it somehow. But from getting in there it seemed to be internal.

Yup, looks like the projector lens itself. I hope they replace it if you can't easily fix it yourself

Glad they are making things right for you but sucks you gotta do all that work all over again. Things happen and we all make mistakes.

In my experience after market headlights can be quite hit and miss, often you find condensation a few months later :/ Im hoping these get some good long term reviews, then Ill jump for them

I installed mine around January this year, and 'knock on wood' mine are holding up excellent.
Been through a Canadian winter, heavy rain and never garage parked and they still look new.
Not seeing any stone chips or scratches on them either,
mind you they probably have the equivalent of 5 coats of wax and sealer on them.
    No UV hazing either. :)
I changed the H7 bulbs that came with them with some more expensive ones (can't remember the name) and they work well.
I do love how they look on the truck.
Would love to switch them to LED but I'm not sure which brand will work with the minimal clearance at the back.
I did the grill and the lights the same day, and when I stood back and took a look, my jaw dropped at how much it changed the whole "attitude" of the truck.
