@Luv my yota I’ll be interested in a tube bumper too. I haven’t found one on the maket that has the Baja style for less than $1400 either

I think bad land bumpers offers a stinger hoop they are bad ass. Especially the bambi basher. But not the style I’m looking for. The Baja bumper brand is spot on as what I’m looking for. Can’t wait to get my stock bumper off.

Awesome! I’m looking forward to this. What do you think of this design? It’s very classicCA483478-1D60-4D7F-BAE2-4E96A1770F89.jpg

Love it! Thinking of extending the skid under the truck maybe so its more aerodynamic and solves the problem of getting rid of the factory skid/oil catcher, which would be an option, but not required to buy with the bumper, just in case you want to add that later too. Got alot in mind but I like simplicity, yet top notch metals, perfect bends, and tig welds will be my standard. Powdercoat for a great price aswell if chosen.

An extended skid would probably look very clean too. Do you have price range ideas? Like for that bumper with or without the extended skid?

I'm gonna give everyone group buy pricing when the prototypes are ready. I will discuss this more as I choose suppliers for the material it will ultimately determine the price, because metal prices go up and down, so I will buy as much metal as I need to to really bring the price down. I am not looking to be expensive but they wont be a cheapo crappy product. More info soon to be released.

Cool. I’ll have to make sure to get in on the group buy. Looking forward to following the progress

Yup that’s Exactly what I’m looking for as well. And I’m glad I’m not the only one. You will do well if you can come up with a classic bumper with easy install. And I love the look off the Extended two-piece style skid plate.

Sweet, looks like what I have in my head will be getting measured cut mandrel bent then welded. The top tube I think it if its spaced correctly from the grill and wraps nice and tight around the front fenders and ends at the bend around the front fenders it will make it look really good. I've noticed some baja bumpers have just a straight top tube with no bends, it has to be aesthetically pleasing as well as strong like bull!, lol.

Yeah I like how they wrap around also the taper of the skid plate is right to. I have seen some with a more square profile I really don’t like the square look.

For sure, my wife is thrilled that I'm making these. She likes the torture test rides we go on. Thank you all for you're patience, I will be doing a few prototypes very soon things are crazy buying a new home. These will get my undivided attention in two weeks, the ones out now need to come to the 21st century so I will be burning the tungsten until I make bumpers everybody will want.
