Recently just got rear ended and gotta get it fixed. Body shop quoted me 600 bucks for oem replacement. So got a 600 dollar check from the insurance. So instead I'm just gonna go with a off road bumper. What's a good brand bumper around 600 bucks. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Six-hundy is a good start for OR bumpers and you should be able to get something depending on what options you want (standard bolt-on OEM replacement, high-clearance, hitch, powder coat, etc.). I'm in "OR bumper research mode" and am looking at All Pro Apex for the front, and AP rear w/ add-on side plates in back. Check out Pelfrey and Brute Force high clearance as well - both make bolt-on rears that don't require cutting.

There's a sticky with a ton of info on bumpers, plus utilize the search function. Good luck.

Yeah I was just looking at all pro and they look good on the trucks! I'm probably thinking about going with that since it has the high clearance and you can get a hitch attachment since I need for towing

I got rear ended last week and I am looking at getting an all pro with the tow hitch. Does anyone know if the bed sides have to be cut to install the side plates? And/or if these could be added later?

Based on my research, I don't think there is any cutting with the AP rear. You probably can add the rear side protection plated down the road, but I imagine that you'd have to take the bumper off to mount them. Hopefully someone with the AP rear will weigh in on this thread and clarify.
