theres dozens of options. it really matters what you are looking for in terms of use and looks. i personally have a bodyarmor4x4 bumper because it has room for a winch, recovery hooks and it looks close to stock. tell us what youre trying to use it for and the kind of look you want and theres def a bumper for you.

I want a meaner look to the truck and to attach a winch down the road and to give it some protection as well.

Look for local fabricators. We have one out here in Kansas who does an AMAZING job and will do anything you want. And charge 1/3 the price of the online places.

Let 'em get swiped. It would take a torque wrench to get them off.

Oh, and thanks for drinking your daily allotment of haterade.

    Stay thirsty buddy!

I almost went with a 4wp bumper but decided on a Warn semi hidden winch bumper (100044)
My main reasons for picking the Warn are
That it is solid with no light cut outs or mounting holes for external light bars. I want to cut my own holes so I can mount some DD ss3 flush mount lights to it.
The only cutting you have to do to install it is some plastic bits under the truck, so if I wanted to I could go back to stock easily.
Also I liked the higher bull bar.

I don't plan on installing a winch anytime soon, mostly wanted it for a good front recovery points, protection from low speed impacts, and style points when I go mall crawling on the weekends.

    Work in progress...
Just google 3rd gen tacoma front or rear bumper tacoma world and you should find one or two really great threads right here. Not all of the companies are still around so you have to do a bit of research. My personal favorite is the Victory 4x4 strike bumper for the front. I have the Body Armor Desert series front and rear on my truck. All kinds of choices out there for sure.
